Regardless of which name you know the game by, online bingo is an easy, simple and fun game to play online. As with most games however, there are rules you need to adhere to. However, there are so many variations of the game currently available online that many of the rules allow for a more lenient interpretation.

When playing online bingo it is vital to be familiar with all of the rules and regulations applying to the game you are playing. Below follows the rules that apply to both the 75 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo.

1. Every player has to buy at least one ticket, however, you can play with as many tickets as you like. It is important to note that each ticket is an individual game and you cannot combine it with another ticket.

2. Our seventy five ball tickets are divided into a 5 x 5 grid and has random numbers printed on them. The centre cell will always be blank. If you are playing ninety ball online bingo, your ticket will have three rows and nine columns. There will be a few blank spaces while the others will be filled with randomly generated numbers.

3. The game will be played with seventy five or ninety balls, with a single number, from one to 75 or ninety, printed on each ball. These balls are spun around and a random ball is selected. The number of the ball will then be called out by the announcer, or displayed on screen for online bingo players.

4. Should the number appear on your ticket, you strike it off, either with a pen when at the bingo hall, or with your cursor for electronic versions.

5. The first player to strike off a complete pattern is declared the winner. The player must then call out 'bingo' before the next number is called out. Failure to do so results in the game continuing until another 'bingo' occurs.

6. If a player makes a wrong or false 'bingo' claim he or she will have to forfeit his or her ticket and the game continues until a correct call is made.

These are the basic international online bingo rules, regardless of the variant or medium of the game. The rules stay constant and bingo players all over the globe follow them.
